A brief discussion on the conservation and maintenance of canals in Padukka was held on 18.01.2021 at the Padukka Divisional Secretariat under the patronage of Padukka Divisional Secretary. According to the information obtained from the Agricultural Research Production Assistants of the Padukka Division, 119 such canals have been identified and the measures to be taken for their conservation and maintenance were discussed.
Mrs. Saduni Pradeepa, Assistant Director (Planning) of the Padukka Divisional Secretariat participated in this event and the coordination was done by Mrs. Mayuri Udayangani, Padukka Agriculture Development Officer.
