The Regional Child Development Committee meeting was held on 14.09.2022 under the chairmanship of Mr. Sugath Sisira Kumara, Divisional Secretary.

Padukka Division Education Director,District Labor Officer, Avissawella Station Probation Officer, Homagama Station Probation Officer, Homagama Zonal Education Office Project Officer, Padukka, Hanwella Police Officers and Field Officers, Village Officers participated.

The Child Development Committee meeting was held on the day of the divisional meeting and was organized and coordinated by Mrs. Monica Athuraliya, Child Rights Promotion Officer.

Here, the Honorable Principal and Vice Principal provided great support and resource contribution and management of the programme was provided by Ms. Nayana Kumudini, Padukka Human Resource Development Officer.

The distribution of stipends and permits to 35 residents of government lands in Padukka Divisional Secretariat Division was held at the office auditorium on 22.08.2022 under the leadership of Padukka Divisional Secretary Mr. Sugath Sisira Kumara and the participation of Assistant Divisional Secretary Mrs. Madhusha Weerakkodi.

Licenses were distributed to 31 beneficiaries selected from the previously conducted land auctions, and allowances were distributed to 04 licensees residing in the lands that had been granted licenses.

 In parallel with the programme, the government agency of Padukka Division has successfully started the cultivation activities in its institutions by joining with the Divisional Secretariat.
