The programme, which was inaugurated by the Honorable Colombo District Parliamentarian, Hon. Chandana Suriya Arachchi, Hon. Chairman of the Padukka and Seethawaka Coordinating Committee, was attended by the Honorable Chairman of the Seethawaka Pradeshiya Sabha, Hon. Sunil Pemaratne, divisional Pradeshiya Sabha members, Padukka Divisional Secretary H. Ashani Niranga Piyasumana, Assistant Director (Planning) Nandani Gunawardhana, Community Development Officers of the district, Grama Niladhari and officers of the Development Division. The Development Division organized these programme.

The foundation stone laying ceremony of the house of Mr. K.D. Binudika Senadheera, a resident of 467 Malagala Grama Niladhari Division in the Padukka Divisional Secretariat Division, under the Government Housing Development Assistance Programme, was held on 2026/06/08 under the patronage of Hon. Colombo District Parliamentarian, Hon. Chairman of the Padukka and Seethawaka Coordinating Committee, Hon. Chandana Suriya Arachchi.

The Housing Officer of the Padukka Divisional Secretariat Office, Mr. Ajantha Pathirana, residents of the beneficiary house, and a group of local residents participated in this event.
