Divisional Secretariat - Padukka

A training program on project management and office systems for Economic Development Officers and Field Officers of the Padukka Divisional Secretariat Office, conducted by the Colombo District Secretariat Office, was held on 29/08/2025 from 9.00 a.m. at the Padukka Divisional Secretariat Office Auditorium.

For this, Assistant District Secretary W.A.B. Amila Suresh Parakrama, District Planning Director Sujith Bandara, District Planning Assistant Director Gayathri Bovitiya, District Planning Development Coordinator Diana Samanthi participated on behalf of the District Secretary's Office.

Assistant Divisional Secretary K.K.P. Shiromi Ratnayake, Assistant Director (Planning) Nandani Gunawardhana participated on behalf of the Padukka District Secretary's Office.

The training session on office systems was conducted by Colombo Assistant District Secretary Amila Suresh Parakrama.
The session on project management was conducted by the Colombo District Planning Director Sujith Bandara. The training session was held throughout the day.

 The establishment of the 465 Kurugala Village Development Society in Padukka Precinct Division was held on 2025/08/02 at 10.00 am at the Sri Sailanthararama Viharaya Dharma Hall, Kurugala.New members of the society participated for this.

The foundation stone laying ceremony of the house of Mr. S.D. Chaminda Kumara, a resident of 465 Kurugala Grama Niladhari Division in the Padukka Sub-Division of the Padukka Sub-Division of the Housing for All programme implemented for the low-income community was held on 2025/07/31 by the Honorable Colombo District Parliamentarian, Mr. Susantha Dodawatte.

A mediation program to educate the officers of the 461 C Pahala Padukka Women's Society was held on 2025/07/24 at the Padukka Youth Club.
