jointly organized by the Padukka Divisional Secretariat, Padukka Youth Club Regional Council and the Youth Clubs of the Grama Niladhari Divisions, was held at Rajasinghe College, Bope on 19/07/2026.The victory symbol presentation ceremony held under the patronage of the Honorable Colombo District Parliamentarian, Honorable Chairman of the Padukka and Seethawaka Coordinating Committee, Hon. Chandana Suriya Arachchi, was attended by the Honorable Chairman of the Seethawaka Pradeshiya Sabha, Hon. Sunil Pemaratne, and the Honorable Wimalasena of the Pinnawala Division.

This festival, organized under the guidance and advice of Padukka Divisional Secretary H. Ashani Niranga Piyasumana, was attended by Assistant Divisional Secretary K.K.P. Shiromi Ratnayake, Youth Social Welfare Board activists, competition judges, athletes and others.
This festival included a number of athletic and field sports and lasted for several days. The closing ceremony was special in that the youth community was entertained with dance performances by local cultural groups.

The first place in the Youth Sports Festival was won by Pinnawala Shakthi Youth Society, the second place by Siyambalawa Warrior Youth Society and the third place by Uggalla Youth Society. This festival was organized under the coordination of Padukka Youth Service Officer Darshika Wakishta Mahakmiya.

 The National Productivity Secretariat, in conjunction with the CLEAN SRI LANKA National Program, organized a program to explain and present the Community Productivity Handbook to selected household units in Isuruyaya Village458 C Dambora Grama Niladhari Division under the Deya Nanwana Sapiri Gamak Community Productivity Model Village Program implemented in the Padukka Divisional Secretariat Division on 15/07/2026 at the Dambora Seva Piyasade with the resourcefulness and organization of Productivity Development Officer Mrs. Bindhya Wickramathilaka.

For this, Dambora Grama Niladhari Mr. J.A.N.M. Jayakody and Community Empowerment Officer Nilmini Ratnayake Mrs. and Community Productivity Committee leaders also participated.

Due to the blockage of Mawak Oya in Udagama Grama Niladhari Division 458 of Padukka Divisional Secretariat Division, 15 families and private lands have been directly affected by the overflowing water for many years, and many environmental problems such as soil erosion, loss of fertility of the land due to erosion, water scarcity, etc. have emerged.

Disaster relief was also provided to the affected families. With the heavy rainfall that falls in the upper watershed areas during the rainy season, people's lives are constantly affected and property is damaged.

The Padukka Divisional Secretary, Mrs. H. Ashani Niranga Piyasumana, made a great commitment to the implementation of this project. The project was implemented by managing the institutions, considering the public demands of the affected people.
