Under the provisions of the Ministry of Women's Affairs of the Western Province, Rs.180,000  worth of horticulture, gardening bags and plants were provided in Siyambalawa division with the aim of directing women to Kochi cultivation in the domains of Siyambalawa, Lower Bope, and Upper Bope.

Vocational guidance programme for choosing category subjects for 9th grade children of Vag Ratanasara Maha Vidyalaya was held on 12.01.2024.This programme was conducted with the coordination of Divisional Education Director Mrs. Neranji Kularatne and the support of teachers and principal of Vaga Rathanasara Vidyalaya.
