Horagala East under the guidance of the Field Officers of the Padukka Divisional Secretariat. HGC Mihirani and M Anoja Samanmalee, Human Resources Officer WA Nayana Kumuduni, Small Business Development Officer PMTN Karunatilake, Social Security Development Officer BAR Mrs. S. Balasuriya, Coordinating Officer, Colombo District Secretariat, Miss. Saduni Peiris conducted awareness programmes on her subject area. Kurugala Development Officers participated in this event.

Inaugural programme to provide school equipment worth Rs. 5000.00 to the children of migrant workers in Sri Lanka

Donation was made on 25.04.2022 for three children in Padukka Divisional Secretariat. Mr. Sugath Sisira Kumara, Divisional Secretary, Mrs. W. Madusha R. Weerakkody, Assistant Divisional Secretary and Mrs. Priyanka Ratnasiri, Western Provincial Manager, Bureau of Foreign Employment participated in this programme.

The Inter Sports Club Athletic Meet was held on 19th March 2022 at the Siripiyaratana Central College Grounds to mark the end of the two month long Inter Club Sports Competition in the Padukka Divisional Secretariat Division.

01. Overall Championship: - Ranmuthu Sports Club, Udumulla Division

02. Overall runner up: - Mihira Sports Club of Siyabalawa Division won and the tournament ended very successfully.

Colombo District Secretary Pradeep Yasaratne, Western Provincial Director of Sports Sevuvandi Hettiarachchi, Divisional Secretary Sugath Sisira Kumara, Assistant Divisional Secretary W.K. Madusha R. Weerakkody and many other invitees were present.

01. Men's Championship: Unity of Youth Sports Club, Angamuwa Division02. Men's Runner up: Kumudu Sports Club in Pitumpe Division.

01. Women's Championship: - Black Pearl Sports Club, Madulawa Division02. Women's runner up: - Hewagamwatta Sports Club, Halpe Division won.
