In accordance with the health instructions, the office bearers including the village committees discussed the issues required to provide maximum support to the health sector.

A discussion on the opportunities to use organic manure in the Padukka division, the problems that arise there and the solutions proposed for them in accordance with the policy decision taken by the government to use organic manure for all crops including paddy cultivation was held at the auditorium of the Padukka Divisional Secretariat under the patronage of Pradeep Udugoda, Member of Parliament, Colombo  .

Chairman of the Seethawaka Pradeshiya Sabha, Mr. Pradeep Yasaratne, Colombo District Secretary, Mr. Sugath Sisira Kumara, Divisional Secretary, Padukka, Mrs. Madusha Weerakkody, Assistant Divisional Secretary, District Director. Mr. Senaka Silva, Planning Director (Planning), Assistant Director (Fertilizer), Staff Officers of the Padukka Divisional Secretariat, Mr. Padukka Agriculture Instructor, Agrarian Services Divisional Officer, Agricultural Research Production Assistants in charge of the Division and representatives of Farmers' Associations were present.It was decided to obtain information on the amount of organic fertilizer required for each of the major crops as soon as possible.

Under the coordination of the Padukka Youth Services Officer, 12 beds were handed over to the Covid Treatment Center under construction at Venivel Kola, Kahathuduwa.
